Founders of LAJ

Agnieszka Pawelec

I graduated from Polish philology with a specialization in theatre studies at the Catholic University of Lublin and postgraduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the Maria Curie- Skłodowska University in Lublin. I have many years of experience in teaching Polish as a foreign language. This is the experience of working with students from China, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey, Italy, France and the United States. Since 2017, I have been a member of the examination committee for the certificate exams in Polish as a foreign language. Whereas in 2019 I completed my training and, by the decision of the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, I was entered on the list of examiners authorised to act as chairpersons of examination committees. I have chaired numerous examinations held in Poland and abroad. In cooperation with the National Agency for Academic Exchange, I have developed examination tasks for C1 and C2 levels. In my free time, I relax outside the city, enjoying the beauty of nature and running the family apiary that my great-grandfather founded.

Beata Kozdroń

I am an English philologist after master studies at the Catholic University of Lublin and postgraduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Teaching foreigners the language I speak as a native speaker is very developing. I have taught at different levels and with representatives of different countries – from China, India, Pakistan, European countries to the United States. Since 2017, I have participated in certificate exams in Polish as a foreign language. I have also prepared tasks for the certificate exam tests, so I am familiar with the exam in both theory and practice. As of 2019, I am qualified to act as chairman of the exam committees, but by choice I act as secretary working in the best possible exam team. To relax, I do utility tracking – I’m a tracking dog handler and a poser.
